Edith Marie Bishop was born 27/7/1907 in Bendigo. In 1937 she married Jim Checcucci who died in 1964. In 1974 she married Tom Lunn. Edith' s interest in the history of Bendigo resulted in her being awarded the Order of Australia in 2002. She died in 2009.Bendigo Weekly date unknown. This greeting card was used by United Nation forces to hand Somalian locals for the purpose of conveying information. Small white greeting card written in the Somali language.
