This greeting card was used by United Nation forces to hand Somalian locals for the purpose of conveying information.

Physical description

Small white greeting card written in the Somali language. On the front left side there features the United Nations symbol and on right side there features a five point star. On the reverse, there are two rows of flags that represent the countries working in Somalia as part of the United Nations, on the left side there is an image of a helicopter above an image of a tree and a camel. On the right side there features an image of an United Nations troop carrier (M113 APC) and in the centre there is an image a UN officer shaking hands with a Somalian local.
