The celebrated EMU CREEK BUSH BAND is a social group, which fosters junior members, has the promotion of authentic Australian Traditional Music as its aim. This is played on acoustic instruments featuring the 'squeezeboxes' i.e. the German system concertinas and button accordions along with fiddle, mandolin or banjo mandolin and whistles. Piano, banjos, guitars, double bass, washboard or lagerphone and drums play rhythm. Part of the "Robert H. Baron", No. 3596 and Cooper Collections. See catalogue No. 1981P for details of R.H. Baron's service.Gold coloured metal medallion. Obverse side features an Australian Coat of Arms in the middle. Above the Coat of Arms are two clasped hands. Encircling the Coat of Arms are two rifles and a floral chain. A small ring is attached at the top to hold a chain. Recipients' details are engraved on the back. A gold coloured medallion in a black velour box it appears to have been issued by Weapons of War which was a series of 52 DVDs. It was found in the archive cupboards and may have been collected due to the connection with commemorating the military service of ADF personnel. Legacy was founded by returned servicemen of the first world war and Legatees were all ex-service personnel until the 1990s.A record that Legatees collected items that commemorated military service.Round gold tone medallion with colour image of a bugler and red poppies and an embossed Australian Army rising sun. The inscription tells of the person, Susan Fleetwood. That Susan Fleetwood was the daughter of William Rutledge, and the wife of Thomas Falkner Fleetwood places her with two men of historical importance in Warrnambool and district.Stained glass lancet window, west wall, north nave, second light from the left in the group of five lights, Depicting the Blessed Virgin Mary facing towards the central light of the Crucifixion, the predominant colours are blues and purple/magenta. Towards the top of the design is an angel holding the Alpha symbol. At the peak of the design is a golden crown. A 25 Millimetre Middle Eastern Coin that was discovered by QC Binks while he was out metal detecting for gold. On one side is an Iron Cross with a small crown insignia in the centre. Four infinity symbols are between the arms of the cross. On the other side is the image of a person in profile with a headdress. Ceremonial object - JOHN FREDERICK HARPER COLLECTION: LODGE APRON, 1950-1990's
Object. Soft off-white kid leather apron, with three sides edged in a 5 cm wide band of blue grosgrain ribbon, mitred at the lower corners. A Vshaped over-lap-13 cm deep at the centre front peak and sewn into the waistband, has a metal angled lodge symbol at the centre front. This symbol which has a circular blue enamel shape at the centre, is repeated in the corners of the lower edge. Two 5 cmx16cm long blue ribbon tabs hang from under the V shaped panel, and have a 5.8 cm x 1.3 cm metal fitting at the lower edge.
