On Page 2, titled "Taking tourism to the next level", has details of the Council viewpoints on the proposal, public consultation, a map of the route, and notes on the construction issues. Demonstrates the Museum's ticketing systems and ongoing production of tickets.Block of 200 tickets - black ink on off white paper, denomination 10c, lettered A 177800 to A 177999, headed Ballarat Tourist Tramway. The 200 tickets have been stapled onto a heavy cardboard back with a heavy metal staple. The tickets are in the style of the former State Electricity Commission of Victoria tramway tickets. Tickets in use as child return tickets from 24/12/1975 to 1/11/75 and as child single tickets in 1/11/75 to 30/6/78. See BTM Fare Chart. See image files for details of the letterhead of the various company offices. 1972.1 - Letter from the Engineer and Manager of the Melbourne Electric Supply Company Limited, Melbourne office advising Mr. A. D. Murdoch, Manager of the Melbourne and Metropolitan Tramways Board that he had forwarded the questionnaire to their Geelong Engineer for completion. Dated 30/12/1929. Stamped as being received by the TB as 31/12/1929. See image 1972i1 for image of letter. 1972.2 - Letter from the Chief Accountant of ESCo Ballarat, to the Manager TB acknowledging receipt of the letter dated 24/12/1929 regarding the questionnaire and saying Mr. Pringle is on holidays and will be attended to on his return. Photocopy per facsimile machine of part of The Courier, Ballarat 27/12/1944 detailing the movement and location of the miniature or Treasure Tram that was used to raise money during the wartime in Ballarat as part of the most popular conductress competition (see also Reg. items 241 and 247 )had been presented to the Bendigo Base Hospital to be used in the Bendigo Easter Fair. In addition is a item concerning the death of Mrs Eeleen Scruse on 25/12/1944. Mrs. Scruse husband was a tram driver. (See Reg Item 1655 for photo of Frank Scruse) Fax dated 14/2/1996. Yields information about one of the first two maximum traction bogie trams in Ballarat in October 1945 after it had been repainted for use in Ballarat by the SEC and the Lake / depot area at the time.Black and white photograph of SEC No. 15 in Wendouree Parade just to the south of St. Aidans Drive. Photo taken looking south with the trolley pole to the camera in the raised position. Appears to be a new trolley rope. Tram has destination of "Gardens via Drummond Nth". Possibly taken soon after receipt and repainting in Ballarat in 1945. "The Ballarat Tramways" notes that No. 15 arrived in Ballarat October 1945 and was renumbered to No. 36 in 1953.
