Races were popular events at the Ithacan Philanthropic Society's annual picnic. The men's foot race was the highlight of the day. Pictured centre front of runners is the president, Andreas Papadopoulos. Young Ithacans participated in the various sporting teams and social and fundraising activities organised by the club.
