Re. Rex Collis Mathias (1907-1986) was a peace activist and spoke to the public on the Yarra Bank under the banner of "voice of Methodism". He led the Young People's Department in 1939 and in 1940 was Chaplain of Wesley College. He was Director of General Conference, Department of Christian Education. Rev.
