This file contains two items about Moorabbin Hospital, as part of Monash Medical Centre: 1/The Agenda of the first Annual General Meeting of Contributors to Monash Medical Centre, held 28/09/1987 at the Clayton Campus. The business of the meeting is outlined and those who are contributing to the meeting are named, including guest speaker The Honourable David White, Minister for Health. 2/Two copies of the Monash Medical Centre Annual Report 1986–87. The Annual Report outlines how the creation of the Monash Medical Centre involved the incorporation of three existing hospitals, including the Moorabbin Hospital. The Report also outlines the plans of the Centre of the future, including the relocation of Prince Henry’s Hospital to Clayton and Moorabbin. The Report contains updates on recent purchases by the Centre, breakthroughs in health research, and ends with a financial report. The Board of Management and Executive Co-ordinating Committee are named, with the Executive Co-ordinating Committee also pictured. A letter from Mrs M Ring to the Caulfield Historical Society, dated 14/03/1986, conveying gratitude for the information provided about the house Crotonhurst located at the corner of Hawthorn Road and Glen Eira Road, Caulfield North, and requesting information about the Langdon and Webb families and the property Lirrewa. Enclosed with the letter is a copy of a two page report on the Life of George Frederick Webb. The file also includes a seven page report conducted by Irene Victoria Anderson in 1982 on the history of the Langdon and Webb families and the house Crotonhurst. A light blue document titled "Bendigo Teachers' College 1954". Also on the front cover is a list of the staff working at the college at that time. On the inside cover is the "Significance of the Graduation Ceremony" and "Order of the Ceremony". Mr. F. M. Courtis gave a welcome to visitors whilst the Principal gave the college charge to the graduands. The 'Graduation Book' was presented to Mr. E. C. Krieger Inspector of Schools by Miss J. C. Burnett. The final call for 1954 of the graduands was called by Mr. F. G. East. Finally the Occasional Address was given by Mr. O. C. Phillips Chief Inspector of Primary Schools. The following page contains a list of the graduands and on the back cover is the "Principal's Charge to the Graduands". There is also a white typewritten insertion within the booklet which contains words to the hymns and a plan of the physical arrangement of the school hall for the graduation. Bolton Print Bendigo.
