In late 1990s the house was demolished and units built.The Margaret Ball (Pre 1960s Houses) Collection was a personal project initiated to mark the year 2000 and arose as a result of the disappearance of many pre-1960s parts of Eltham due to development. Approximately 200 pre-1960s style houses that were left in Eltham between Main Road and east to Bible Street, between Cecil Street to the north and south to Dalton Street were photographed in late 1999. Bert Hulm was born on 20/06/1891 and died 04/12/1967. He was a Corporal (5110) of the 46th Battalion, and was gassed during World War One. His children were Chriss, Pauline and Bill. This mantle clock was given to Norman Nobelius by his parents Rupert and Flo Nobelius on the occasion of his marriage to Frances Ayers in 1947 and was subsequently inherited by their daughter, Pauline. Rupert was the son of Carl Axel Nobelius, the famous Emerald horticulturalist. This clock was a gift from the son of the famous Emerald horticulturalist, Carl Axel Nobelius.Ansonia mantle clock with ornate oak case with metal pendulum and a brass key c1940s.
