A booklet of a list of excursions that was arranged for the visiting members of the British Association for Advancement of Science which included Marysville. These excursions were conducted in August 1914. They included geological excursions as well as excursions to local attractions to observe the flora and fauna found in and around the various destinations. The excursions were to Bacchus Marsh, Marysville, Warburton and Cement Creek, the Macedon District, Emerald, Ballarat and the local district, Bendigo and surrounds, Wilson's Promontory, and the Central Research Farm at Werribee. This pusher was made in 1917 for twins named Ron and Oswald Warburton, from the Warrnambool area. From the design it appears that it could have been hand made or come from a wheelwright or coach factory.This item is of considerable significance as it has local provenance and it is a bespoke item which makes it one of the rare items in our collection.This is a pusher made for twins with a seat of padded leather and curved cane back and sides. It has a wooden hinged handle and a wooden foot plate. The first Presbyterian Church in Beaufort, located at corner of Livingstone and Warburton streets. Closed Nov 21 1909 when the new church was opened in Livingstone Street.
