The Bendigo District Football Association was superseded in 1913 by the Bendigo Football League. When competition resumed in 1919 after WW1 the League was composed of Eaglehawk, South Bendigo, Sandhurst and Bendigo East. In 1924 Echuca was included and Bendigo East was eliminated. The four girls were bridesmaids at the wedding of Chrisoula Kallinikos and Niko Sikiotis. Their Christmas, Map, and circular jig-saw series were their most popular jig-saws. Maude Glover-Fleay b. 1869 was a painter who studied under Frederick McCubbin. Glover-Fleay was regarded for her natural history subject matter.
