The silver plated shaving mug was presented to Robert Cornelius WATTERS by his sister Norma WATTERS. She had it engraved with his name, P.M. 2990 for his port of embarkation and R.A.N.R.as a member of the Royal Australian Naval Reserve. A previous mill had operated in Charlton by Mr. W.E. Foreman on the banks of the Avoca River and was acquired in 1919 by Noske Bros.
