Arthur Jones was K.I.A. and is buried in an unmarked grave in the Western Front area of France. 2/ Photograph of three Australian Soldiers during World War 1. The soldier on the left is Reuben Levi Jones of West Australia who saw active service in France. The other soldiers are unknown. -

Map, SECRET LANDING GROUNDS AUSTRALIA
Large map of aircraft landing grounds located in Australia and some nearby Islands. This map shows landing grounds in use during the latter years of World War 2. The map is in Mercator Projection to the Equatorial Scale 1:4,000,000. The scale is statute miles. Each landing ground location is shown by a symbol indicating category and name. The legend explains the landing ground categories: RAAF Main Landing Grounds, RAAF Emergency Landing Grounds, Seaplane Anchorages, Civil Main Landing Grounds, Civil Emergency Landing Grounds and Cancelled Landing Grounds. The map was revised 4th September, 1945. The map is printed on paper which is attached to a linen backing, The map is quite faded and in a fragile condition. -

Swagger Stick
Trench art, Vietnam era. Made of a wooden rod and a spent 50 calibre cartridge which has been cut into two with one piece attached to either end of the rod to form an ornamental stick, commonly referred to as a 'swagger stick'. Half of the cartridge, complete with a projectile forms one end with the other half of the cartridge forming the opposite end. There is a gilt uniform button attached to the cartridge detonator end, with the emblem of the Royal Australian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (RAEME). -

Souvenir, Tea Towels
Souvenir tea towels made for the 40th anniversary commemoration of the formation of the Australian Women's Army Service which was formed on the 13th August 1941. There are eight of these linen tea towels screen printed in colour on a plain background. There are blue, maroon and green examples. The tea towels feature the badge of the A.W.A.S. ASSOCIATION VIC. and the date of formation.The tea towels have the following screen printed in colour: The badge of the A.W.A.S. ASSOCIATION VIC. with "A.W.A.S." above and "AUSTRALIAN WOMEN'S ARMY SERVICE" around the lower part of the badge. Hat, WRANS, 1944
Standard hat issued by the Royal Australian Navy to members of the Women's Royal Australian Navy Service during World War ll. This is a black, felt hat with a faded black tally band with "H.M.A.S. CERBERUS" embroidered in gold lettering. The interior of the hat has a grey sweatband. embroidered with the name : "H.M.A.S. Cerberus" and a sewn, labelled tag on the inside of the hat reading "N18, 1944, Size 21-1/2, MADE IN AUSTRALIA". -

Small individual container of Australian Department of Defence issue foot powder for anti-bacterial treatment of the skin. Possibly issued to Australian service personnel during the Vietnam era. The container has a sliding perforated lid to enable the user to sprinkle the powder on the skin.The container is marked on front and back sides with the following "FOOT POWDER", "D /l\ D", "NET WEIGHT 2 OZS", "MANUFACTURED BY MURPHY LIEBERT PTY LTD SYDNEY AUSTRALIA" The side of the container is marked "PD 2/66". -

Collection of documents and other service related items issued to VX117810 Frederick Charles Perry by the Australian Military Forces. F C Perry served as a Driver and was with the 2/47th Australian Transport Platoon at the time of discharge. Perry enlisted in the Citizen Military Forces from the 5th November, 1941 to the 10 August, 1942 and then transferred to the Australian Military Forces from 11th August, 1942 to the 3rd April, 1946. -

An example of a small pocket book gifted by the Australian Comforts Fund (ACF) to soldiers and other servicemen during WW2. This pocket book has a bright red cover and was given as a morale boosting gift. The book contains details of relevant information considered useful to serving service personnel. Set of three service medals issued to Australian Army serviceman Thomas Patrick Flood, number 3757, Private, 8th Battalion, 1st AIF who served during World War 1. Set consists of the 1914-1915 star, the British War Medal and the Allied Victory Medal, these medals are complete with original ribbons and are unmounted. A small cardboard box addressed to the recipient is enclosed. Presumably this box was originally used to deliver one of the medals by mail. -

Square hinged box inscribed on lid 'Anzac Commemoration 1926'. The box is covered with a thin, black leather-like material. The box is lined with cloth. The lower section of the box is lined with a mid-blue cloth which is imprinted, in silver, with the map of Australia in which five English farthings have been set. The coins are in the formation of the Southern Cross with a silver star shape around each farthing. The underside of the box lid has dark blue gathered satin lining. The coins are in uncirculated condition and are loose. The box is damaged.The box is inscibed in gold lettering with the following: "Anzac Commemoration 1926" -

A small flag taken from an Indonesian Sergeant during the Malaysian Indonesian 'confrontation' in 1965. The flag was taken by an Australian, N Lloyd. The flag is a small banner style with tapes on the masthead side for attachment. The flag is made from a linen material. The uper half of the flag is red and the lower half white. There are three, five pointed, white stars on the right hand half of the flag.
