Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church was designed by the architect William Wardell. Prior to the construction of the church, mass was conducted at the Daniel Home 'Narbonne'. The foundation stone was laid on 13/11/1804 by the Catholic Bishop of Melbourne, Rev. Dr. J. Goold and the church opened in 1875 with later additions erected in 1890.A coloured photograph of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Huddart Parker traded between 1876 and 1961. It was established in 1876 by James Huddart, T.J. Parker, John Traill and Captain T. Webb. The business rapidly expanded and was travelling between Melbourne and Sydney by 1882 and Melbourne to Adelaide from 1886. The Company was established in Geelong but moved its offices to Melbourne by 1890. It is likely this saucer was used on the Huddart Parker shipping line some time between 1876 and 1961. Historically, the early establishment of the company in Geelong is significant for the region. The Australian Tesselated Tile Co. began in Mitcham, south of the Railway Station in 1886. It almost collapsed after the bursting of the Land Boom in 1890's, then recovered to become one of the world's greatest Tile Works. Rocket equipment which has been used in various lifeboat and rocket stations on the Victorian Coast. It is unclear if this is the original rocket equipment from Port Campbell. This equipment, if not original has been used in rescue operations and is identical to the equipment that has been in use at Port Campbell from C.1890 onwards.Metal, brass and timber tripod structure with a channel or trough to support the rocket. It has a pendulum and dial to measure the height trajectory. Very long wooden box with hinged lid painted a green-grey colour with four brass hinges and two rusted metal hooks.

In 1890 D. Babcock invented a test for measuring the amount of butter fat in milk, either on the farm or in the dairy or creamery. Samples of milk were put in the glass vial and then spun (by cranking the handle) causing the cream to separate from the non-fat milk thus determining the percentage of cream in the milk. The product was then priced accordingly.Dairy farming in the Kiewa Valley was the main industry with farmers keen to test the quality of their milk before selling it. This centrifuge enabled them to test the amount of milk and cream being produced by their herd. This '1903 Butter Fat Tester' made 100 turns per minute. Early hand crank centrifuge for measuring the butterfat content of milk in the farm dairy or creamery. It has 4 brass / copper removable canisters with glass vials and tubes that fit inside. This roughing plane was used by Peter Jensen who came to Martin's Creek (35 miles north of Orbost) in 1890 having been told that Martin's Creek would be on the railway line. He was a cooper who made the casks from silver wattles. The 1886 Irrigation Act in Victoria introduced the first legislation in Australia designed to enable the creation of a detailed scheme for agricultural irrigation. Part of the legislation saw the use of government funds for local irrigation projects. These local projects were managed by local irrigation trusts. The Lerderderg Irrigation and Water Supply Trust was formed in 1890. Printed paper map of the proposed Lerderderg District Irrigation and Water Supply. This building was constructed by James Elijah Crook in 1865 as a residence for Doctor Bone. Between 1874 and 1890 it was in use as a Post Office. From around the 1920s F.C Pearce sold motor cars from this site for a number of years. The site is now occupied by the Bacchus Marsh Newsagency and Stationers located at 138 Main Street.Small sepia unframed photograph on card with gold border framing photograph. The coloured postcard depicts the Port of Warrnambool in the early 1900s. It shows the Breakwater, completed in 1890, the Viaduct, and the Merri River footbridge. There are many people on the sandy river banks, beach and bridge, and some are on the rocks of Middle Island. The printed postcard was made in England and is one of the Jordan Series produced by Joseph Jordan, a renowned photographer in Victoria's Western District.The postcard is locally significant as a record of the early footbridge over the Merri River, and the Viaduct before the space between the pylons was filled it. It shows the use of horses as a means of transportation. Gippsland was a relatively less developed part of Victoria in the nineteenth century. Danebo Hotel, Martin’s Creek, would have been an important stopping point for travellers to Bonang and Bendoc. The Court House opened as a court of petty sessions in 1890 and closed as a court in the early 1980s. It is now a 'Place of Deposit' for paper based products, maps, documents and photographs, and the home of the Wycheproof and District Historical Society Inc. The local Craft Group met at the Court House between 1982 and 2010. The Buloke Shire Council oversees the maintenance of the building.The Court House is No H 1656 on the Victorian Heritage Register. It is the one of only two buildings with this listing in Wycheproof, and characteristic of the type of building constructed in the early days of settlement in Wycheproof. The architecture is of aesthetic value and although some restoration work has taken place to maintain the structure, it remains in good condition and with some of the original furnishings intact.Sepia print of the Wycheproof-Court-House. It was constructed during 1889/90 and commissioned on September 23,1890 as a court-of-petty-sessions. A simple form of Court House built of red-face-brick but embellished by stepped brick work in the principal gable and by the traverse veranda with elaborate frieze and gabled pavilions that protect the street facade.
