Ladies cream silk bodice with long sleeves. Deep Vshape at front neckline and drops to deep V shape at waistline. Silk double ruffle around neckline. Bodice is boned at centre front and two bones at either side of V neckline. Bones on either side of back opening. Back opening with small holes for lacing down each side. Lacing missing. Hook and eye at waist below back opening. Sleeves have 11 cm flared cuffs. Sleeves have two rows of satin ribbon and bows.costume, female, bodice

Clothing. Half slip petticoat - elastic waist, peach coloured nylon. Embroidered with sprays of flowers on a band of sheer nylon inserted into the skirt of the petticoat, and a deeper band of the embroidered flowers on the hem. Main part of petticoat in 3 panels. Insert of decorative nylon.Strip of main fabric, then finish with a 12 cms deep panel at decorative nylon. Pink nightgown made from flocked nylon featuring a dotted design of butterflies, and triple dots. Twelve bands of elastic shirring define the waistline, and give fullness to the bodice. Shoulder straps 4.5 cm wide, widening to 7 cms at the top of the shoulder are edged with a 2 cm plain pink nylon frill. A 2 cm band edges the bodice at the top and waistline, witha similar frill attached. A similar frill extends around the hemline. A new garment.Label still attached: Quality Lingerie created by Hanro. This child's crinoline skirt was donated in 1974 by Mrs Ella Kohn of Were Street, a life member of the Society. According to then-BHS Secretary Rosalind Landells, the skirt was originally made the fit a girl aged 10-12, but had been modified to add length. Mrs Landells reported that Society members had restored the skirt to the original length and that it would be worn at a costume parade at the Southern Cross on 27 March 1974 by Carolyn Scott.Pale yellow silk half-hoop skirt with cotton lining.
