Green cloth, covered heavy cardboard both sides ticket or pass, titled "Tramway Pass - 1953-54" for limbless and disabled soldiers, issued by the MMTB with MMTB logo on the rear. Ticket printed with paper sheets glued to the cloth on the inside and a photo of the person issued to glued to the right hand side. Issued to John Cameron of 82 Victoria St Carlton, signed by the Secretary (Mr Warner). Note date of pass is 1-10-53, though it appears to be issued in 1955. Available to 30-6-1954. Has a photo of Mr. Cameron. Advised Mr. Cameron had lost a leg during the war. Note - not available on all night services. Set of three MTT Adelaide Tramway Passes used by Ron Wearne of the Victorian Tramways Social Cricket Association when visiting Adelaide. Each have a cloth cover, covering two pieces of heavy card, with a metal eyelet in the bottom left hand corner, numbers, name of person available to, date of available to and signed by the "Secretary" printed on a separate sheets and glued to the inside. The conditions of travel also printed on a separate sheet and glue to the inside. Bound Document, two large ruled grey folded sheets with containing various schedules and letters typed onto foolscap (folio) or quarto sheets. Titled "Agreement Melbourne and Metropolitan Tramways Board with A.N. Colquhoun "signed and sealed on 18th May 1945. Bound on left hand side with green ribbon. Gave Archibald Norman Colquhoun the right to advertising on the inside of tramcars and buses and on the rear of tickets for five years. Gave details of the contract, minimum payments, rebates and conditions of the contract. Schedule A - two pages - space available in tramcars Schedule B - two pages - buses ditto Schedule C - passenger check tickets / annum - some 350million - one page Schedule D - actual tendered document, 15/4/1948 - one page Schedule E - the Specification for the tender - five pages Schedule F - Letter signed by A.N. Set of four black and white prints of W2 221 derailed at South Melbourne tram depot, late 1960's? This tram was used a training vehicle for recovery crews to re-rail trams. Again possibly an early use of this vehicle as such - has "Kenric Best for Boys wear" sign on one end, and a "Collision not to be moved" Auxiliary board on the other end.
