This photograph is a copy of the original held by Museum of Victoria. Carrs Plains was one of the early runs. Once described as a desirable spot, with the Richardson river running through it into the first level part of the country. In later years it was described as having a fascinating view of the Grampians thirty-fourth miles to the South West. To the South the Pyrenees, East the Bolangum Ranges, North limitless Plains.
