Black and white photograph of W3 669 standing (appears to have just arrived) on the entry to Nos. 1 and 3 roads at Essendon depot. The tram has a run number (E48), is showing Essendon Depot. From shadows is late in the afternoon. Date of photo taken based on the series of photos received from the ARHS as being during Oct. and Dec. 1965. On Kodak paper. W3's were not based or attached to Essendon and would thus appear to be a visiting tram, but in service due to the presence of a run number. The road bridge is in the background. On Kodak paper. Photo during the 2nd half of 1965. 1419.1 - Early in the process of pile driving - Bridge tram track has been reduced to single track and the former outbound line is in use for construction purposes. 1419.2 - Roadway west of bridge looking east.
