Colour postcard with serrated edges of MMTB tram No. SW5 834 southbound in St Kilda Road with the Shine of Remberance in the background. Has as number of parked motor cars on either side of the road. Tram is showing destination of "East Malvern - Darling Road", route 3. Has ads on ends and side of tram, but out of focus. One is for "Dufor Engine Valves" Card by Nucolorvue. On rear of card printed in dark green ink is "MELBOURNE, VICTORIA/ St. Kilda Road with tram and Shine of Remembrance." Advertising on service station has Atlantic, Shell, and Castrol. Has multiple petrol dispensing bowsers. Clocks has directional arrows for Melbourne and Geelong. Tram tracks visible. Collett, who was Tramway Superintendent at Ballarat from 1910 to 1922. Letter on BTM Letterhead. Letter gives details of references to Mr. Collett - 1912 Arbitration Hearings, and the 1922 strike. Printed with the Head of Queen Elizabeth II as a watermark, Hotel name overlain by the menu in red, with the name of the event at the top and two images of tram 38 in Wendouree Parade by a tram stop in both left and right hand corners. Printed using a colour bubble jet printer on plain A4 paper. Three copies held. Prepared by Neil Robe - dinner organiser. 1964.2 - A5 sheet photocopied with a Ballarat Tramway Museum 10cent ticket (A163000) blown up to fill the sheet and on the back - handwritten and photocopied - "Available for a complimentary ride on Sunday 16th September - remembering 30 years - S.E.C.
