Newspaper clipping, Greensborough shopping centre 1970, 1970_
The photograph is of the centre of Greensborough in 1970, prior to the Greensborough Plaza being built. The Partington farm house, named 'Alwyn' (after Alan and Wyn Partington) can be seen north of the Railway Line. Alan and Wyn had to leave this farm in 1976 - moving to a new house - built by son Gary - at 54 Manatunga Circuit - to make way for the creation of Whatmough Park and development of the Hailes Street-The Circuit-Greensborough Plaza precinct. This is an important visual record of Greensborough before the redevelopment of the late 1970's. It also shows the Whatmough park area when it was still the Partington family farm.A black and white newspaper clipping featuring an aerial photograph.Nilgreensborough streets, greensborough, aerial photograph, 1970, partington, whatmough park, greensborough swimming pool -

Photograph, Margaret Ball, 9 Bible Street (northwest corner of Napoleon and Bible Streets), Eltham, c.1999, 1999
Owner early 1900s: Mrs Den. Carucan Real Estate sales history March 1994, December 2000, September 2009The Margaret Ball (Pre 1960s Houses) Collection was a personal project initiated to mark the year 2000 and arose as a result of the disappearance of many pre-1960s parts of Eltham due to development. Approximately 200 pre-1960s style houses that were left in Eltham between Main Road and east to Bible Street, between Cecil Street to the north and south to Dalton Street were photographed in late 1999. Not all of the houses could be photographed; some because the garden or trees blocked the view of the house, others because of rubbish or cars were in the way, some because people were working on the house or in the gardens at the time. Two colour photographic prints and one newsprint clipping eltham, houses, streets, margaret ball (pre 1960s houses) collection, bible street -

Newspaper - Clipping, The Age, ‘Collaboration on the Opera House makes History’, 13.5.1966
Robin Boyd’s desk cupboard contained two exercise books (item D482.1-D482.2) and assorted articles, essays and other material regarding the building of the Sydney Opera House, inserted inside the front cover of Walkabout magazine, July 1966 (item P1377). This publication is one of those inserts.
