SECV - 2d Section Ticket - green card with a cancellation hole through the ticket. Has letter A on the left hand side of one face, details of where it could be used, number FTY 20-98 on reverse side along with price. Sold in strips of 6 for 1/-. Painted on treated white linen, banner used to celebrate Tram No. 27, reaching 1,000,000 miles. Has wording in large red capital letters "This tram has just completed 1,000,000 miles in Ballarat". Fitted with metal eyelets in each corner and centre of top and bottom edges. See Reg. Item 3316 for photo taken by The Courier on 29/6/1968. Has been folded for storage. Yields information about tram services and how timetables were printed using a clock face for use in Ballarat. Demonstrates timetable making.Twenty Eight page, white paper, saddle stapled booklet, titled "Electricity Supply Department - Ballarat Tramways - Official Time Table January 1939", numbered TYE 1-48-5918. Gives notes on the through routing of the tram service, how the clock style format works and that it operates from the Tramway Centre. Also details when extra services are run and times as specific points along the route. Pages 24 and 25 detail the fares and charges, page 26 - luggage, page 27 - section destinations for the various routes and page 28, notes recent reductions in electricity charges. Two copies held. In the worksheet file is the basis of an article that appeared in Feb. 2006 Fares Please! Has a strong association with a Church of England Convention in 1918, shows a scene of Sturt St Ballarat with a tram. Would have acted as a souvenir of the convention.Button badge, 32diameter, plastic back, metal image front, green border, pressed on with steel spike pin, for the 1918 Ballarat Christian Convention badge. Set of three MMTB 1 1/2d tickets joined on a strip with perforations between tickets. Manilla or light brown card, printed with MMTB name, letter W, fare and availability on rear. Printed with details of the cable tram lines. Donated by J. T. Doherty, with a written letter detailing use - says 1940's Letter with worksheet file and envelope. Badge - BTPS Button, Patrick Bros Melbourne, 2000?
Set of five button badges produced by the Ballarat Tramway Museum for sale. Badges made with various coloured images of tram 31, with the words "Ballarat Vintage Tramway" around the edge of the badge and then pressed onto a metal back with a pin. Made by Patrick with their name and phone number stamped in to the centre of the rear of the badge. Have been made in a similar fashion since the mid 1970's for the BTPS/BTM. .1 - light green back .2 - white back .3 - pink back .4 - light blue back .5 - yellow back with a larger pin on rear and Patrick name not stamped into the centre.
