The covers are very worn and the pages are torn, faded stained and heavily tanned. It is tied together with string at the top left hand corner. She won the Senior Siamese, ran second in the senior 75 yards and first in the senior 175 yards. Gwen Horman was a prominent figure in Ringwood History. Her husband , Robert, was the Mayor of the Ringwood Borough in 1954 and again in 1961 and played a large part in the move for Ringwood to become a city. Gwen was a foundation member and President of the Ringwood East Infant Welfare Centre, helped fund raise for the Maroondah Hospital and was a founding member of the Ringwood East CWA in 1949. At top of first page an inscription "St Luke's Sunday School" Alberton. Hector Irvine 3rd prize, Sister Winifred SuptA child's rhyme book with pictures to colour in. Ten pages printed on both sides with a card cover. Very poor condition, edges of pages dog eared and mended with sticky tape. The back cover has been replaced by card from a 1959 Bennett's store Wandiligong calendar. The spine has been reinforced with brown paper. Most pictures have been coloured in.
