In 1964 Legacy was involved with the release of a rose that was dedicated to Legacy. It as a raised bush variety by RT Hamilton, Heidelberg. It is a deep rose pink, reliably splashed with white, large double and well-formed exhibition blooms. The proceeds of the sale of the plants were donated to Melbourne Legacy. A note in the folder of correspondence shows in 1964 over £344 was remitted to Legacy and £159 in 1965. The rose was profiled in the Legacy Bulletin on 22/9/64 and again on 12/10/65. The rose was featured on a Christmas card that was sold to promote Legacy. In 1974 a rose was released as 'Legacy Jubilee' which was a yellow with the tips of the petals suffused red. A 32 page book, primarily humorous drawings that provide a lighter look at life in the trenches of France. The drawings were drawn by Captain Bruce Bainsfather and published in The Bystander, a London publication. Then compilations of the drawings were published as 'The Bystander's Fragments from France'. This is the fifth volume. Hayley Millar Baker is a Gunditjmara and Djabwurrung artist. Her series I Will Survive is about the cautionary tales and bush survival stories that Millar Baker heard as a child. Her Aboriginal and migrant parents and grandparents shared warnings, myths and ghost stories with her. As Millar Baker grew up, these stories evolved, becoming more emotionally charged with each retelling. As stories are retold, they are reformed and embellished, sometimes becoming more vivid and meaningful. In I Will Survive, Millar Baker inserts herself into the stories. Millar Baker says, ‘Recalling memories formed in my childhood and ruminating on these stories in adulthood, I can’t help but dissect my memory’s influences and influencers, and what roles my Aboriginal and migrant parents and grandparents played in feeding lessons and myths into my subconscious.’

Stephen Wickham is an Australian photographer and painter who has been actively exhibiting his works since the 1980s. A long standing preoccupation with Mt Buffalo since the 1980's has seen the artist produce a number of photographic suites and exhibitions that have been likened to German Romantic iconography and associated heavily with the European migrant experience (Robert Nelson, The Age 16 June 2001). Born to Viennese parents, hiking in the mountains for Wickham represents a traditional European family pastime. This series of work is comprised of expeditionary photographs taken between 1980 and 1985. Charles Green describes Wickham's landscape photographs as sublime, transcendental, spiritual and symbolic (Art in Australia Spring 1988). Set in Victoria’s Mount Buffalo National Park, the Mount Buffalo series captures the mountain plateau during winter. Denis Gibbons (1937 – 2011) Trained with the Australian Army, before travelling to Vietnam in January 1966, Denis stayed with the 1st Australian Task Force in Nui Dat working as a photographer. For almost five years Gibbons toured with nine Australian infantry battalions, posting compelling war images from within many combat zones before being flown out in late November 1970 after sustaining injuries. Anne Scott Wilson is a video and photography artist interested in memory, motion and the body. Her work often experiments with movement and light exposure over time.
