A 32 page book, primarily humorous drawings that provide a lighter look at life in the trenches of France. The drawings were drawn by Captain Bruce Bainsfather and published in The Bystander, a London publication.
Then compilations of the drawings were published as 'The Bystander's Fragments from France'. This is the fifth volume. It was published in Australia by Sands and McDougall of Melbourne and sold for 1/9.
