Map of the MMTB Tramway routes 1925 with a list of first and last cars, along with photographs of Wattle Park, Luna Park, and Studley Park. Provides information for the Prahran and Malvern lines, Hawthorn, Footscray, Essendon, Coburg, Kew, St Kilda, cable tram routes, and buses. Also provides information for passengers. The cover photo is of the front of W 296, with the destination of Esplanade. The map is dated by the opening of the line to West Brunswick as far as Albion St, the City Road to St Kilda line via Sturt St lines, and the electric line in Flemington Road which were all opened during mid to late 1925. See Reference. Shows a number of buildings and locations by a numbered reference list, including the Federal Parliament house. The map has advertisements around the outside of the map for Kiwi Shoe or boot polish.Yields information about the Melbourne tramway system in 1925 and demonstrates the methodology the MMTB used to provide information to travellers. Contract tender analysis for the second batch of PMTT tramcars - contract No. 44 - giving the tenderers name, price per body (combination or summer), totals for each type, delivery and remarks. Tenderers were Duncan and Fraser, Meadowbank who also offered Sydney cars as a special offer, Noyes Bros and Pengelley & Co. The contract was let to Duncan and Fraser. Reference page 76 of Destination City says the tram was built in 1915 by the Prahran and Malvern Tramways Trust as a general works car and rail flusher and further modified by the MMTB adding the vacuum equipment to try to control dust. Became known as No. 6 in 1934. Was out of use from the early 1940s and scrapped in 1948. Dated on an envelope with negatives as 13/10/1971. 1 - Tram stop showing shelter, SW6 886 (City) and Melbourne Brighton Bus No. 660 (City, route 602). Timetable Notice giving details of temporary changes to service as part of the COVID 19 response where route 12 diverted by La Trobe St, and thus provided a service along Spencer St. Route 30 was suspended. Route 11A was introduced between Docklands and St Vincent's Plaza. htd4777i1.pdf shows a timetable alteration, reduction of services after 8pm, introduction of the 8pm to 5am curfew and stage four restrictions that were to apply (hopefully) for a six week period. Set of 23 digital timetables generally applicable from 10-11-2019 and two timetables for route 11 and12 applicable from 13 July. This change was a bit confusing at the time.
