Dress worn by Mary (Molly) Sprunt on marriage to John (Jack) Leith on 12 March 1938 at St Andrews Presbyterian Church, Rushworth. Veil was handmade by mother Madge Brydon in 1912 for her wedding. Dress and veil donated by Molly's daughter. Dress also worn by sister - Lyndsay (Lyn) Sprunt for her marriage to George Hendrie on 10 November 1945 at St John's Church Elsternwick. Gown made by Molly and Lyn's aunt Edith Brydon. Veil (NA3495) worn was made by mother Madge Brydon. Donated by Molly's daughter.Cream damask 1938 satin dress. A light blue document titled "Bendigo Teachers' College Graduation Ceremony 1956". Also on the front page is a list of the staff working at the college. On the inside cover is the "Significance of the Ceremony" and the "Order of the Ceremony". A welcome to visitors was given by Mr. F. M. Courtis and the Principal gave the college charge. The signing of the 'Graduation Book' was presented to Mr. A. L. Harris Inspector of Schools, by Miss J. C. Burnett. The final call of the roll for 1956 was given by Mr. C. L. Barker. Two page Summary of talk by Dr Charles Fahey at May meeting of the BHS, titled The Diary of Isaac Edward Dyason. Printed on white paper. An extra copy of page 1 printed on green paper. Dyason kept diaries from New Years Day 1858 until his death in 1915. Most survived with the exception of the years 1873-4 . In Lansell's absence he took over his business affairs and moved into Fortuna. He married and had four children, Emily, Amy, Clarence and Cecil. His youngest child didn't survive.
