From a family who had three generations that worked for Dennys Lascelles. This is the annual financial report for Strachan, Murray and Shannon for the financial year of 1923. Their head office was in Moorabool St, which is now Westfield.Off-white two page paper document. Front cover has a list of the staff responsible for compiling the report. Middle two pages have an overview of the report and a series of numbers describing the finances of the company. Back cover has a short paragraph about the document.

From 1923 until 2008, Warley Bush Nursing Hospital served the Island. In 1923 benefactors, Mr and Mrs W E Thompson, purchased the home of the late Robert Walpol, and presented it to the people of the island for use as a hospital. Warley was in fact the state's first Bush Nursing Hospital. The constitution states that the object of the Society is to relieve the wants of the poor -especially women and children- by suppyling them with clothing ,boots, food, fuel and other necessaries. By the early 2000s there only a few left and Ringwood was one of the last to close about 2008 when it was absorbed into the Citizen's Advice Bureau.
