Souvenir Teaspoon featuring Ballarat tram No. 26 in a round inset at the top of the tea spoon, contained within a plastic case. The teaspoon made by Perfection Plate, of the Caprice style or type. The case is clear plastic, hinged on the left hand side, with a clip on the right hand side and wrapped in plastic. Inside and on top of the case for display purposes is a folded sheet of cardboard, printed with a decorative design on the spoon side and a short item about Australia - the island continent. On the base of the item is details of the manufacturer, and web site. The teaspoon is silver plated, with the tram in a picture 22mm round. Tea spoon is 116mm long x 25mm wide. Yields information about the identification methods used by the ESCo to identify their crews to public and has a strong association with the individuals who wore them over time.Pressed metal uniform badge for ESCo Conductors. Round pressed steel badge with the words "ESCo OF V. LTD." pressed into the badge around the top portion of the badge, the word "CONDUCTOR" and number "13" pressed into the lower half of the badge -with small horizontal lines within the individual letters. Appears to have had a nickel silver finish originally. On rear badge two metal lugs have been soldered onto the badge. Has words "STOKES & SONS" stamped in reverse on the lower rear of the badge. Varnished wooden panel fitted with 13 different tramway or railway related signs and one small image of a Melbourne Tramcar. The panel consists of two pieces of plywood glued to wooden backing boards. The signs have been fixed to the panel with brass screws - either round or countersunk. Traditionally used by tramway operators to check or cancel tickets.Brass cast, was chrome plated, machined, device or ticket punch, used to cancel or punch paper tickets when purchased. Placed a round hole in the ticket. Spring loaded, consists of two main parts with a pin & spring in addition. . Chrome plate has been extensively worn off. There are no manufacturer markings or numbers on the punch.
