Demonstrates the type and style of lamp used in tramways or street cars, made by a company who specialised in the manufacture of electrical products.Electric Lamp or light bulb - stored in a cardboard box with shredded paper. Lamp manufactured by the Edison Company of the USA, for "Street Railway" use. Consists of a glass bulb with a wire vertical filament with a screwed base. Marks on top of the lamp have faded. Filament appears to be working order. Information on the top of the lamp and the box provided by the donor. Denis Gibbons (1937 – 2011) Trained with the Australian Army, before travelling to Vietnam in January 1966, Denis stayed with the 1st Australian Task Force in Nui Dat working as a photographer. For almost five years Gibbons toured with nine Australian infantry battalions, posting compelling war images from within many combat zones before being flown out in late November 1970 after sustaining injuries.
