Digital image of 1862 engraving by Arthur WILLMORE, showing Railway and Town Piers in Sandridge. The original engraving is held by the State Library of Victoria, Acc No H13196, and is based upon an illustration by S T GILL. The same view had also been photographed from the Sugar Works by Antoine Fauchery in 1858 and the original of that photo is also held by the State Library of Victoria, Acc No H84.167-20. Between Railway Pier and Town Pier are smaller piers, the largest being Donaldson's jetty.
