Denis Gibbons (1937 – 2011) Trained with the Australian Army, before travelling to Vietnam in January 1966, Denis stayed with the 1st Australian Task Force in Nui Dat working as a photographer. Removed by the Ringwood Town Hall when it was demolished in the 1968 - 1970. Donated to the Ringwood RSL.Wooden Honour Board from the Ringwood Town Hall. Ringwood District Roll of Honour 1914 - 1918. The centre panel headed “Died on Service” list 14 names. The side panels comprise of 4 columns of names containing 108 in total. The top section includes carving of Gumnuts with a circular panel including a tree and plough.

Known to have been in use in 1909, when there were sixteen subscribers. Decommissioned in 1968.With a timber polished frame with 20 incoming lines, a clock timer and glass fronted notice board on top with various operator instructions this stands nearly two meters tall. Indicators, patch leads and sockets are in left and right banks, with the call/speak toggles in front of them. A small timer to the right is turned on or off when required.

Station Sign - Railway General By-Laws Poster Since the very early days, Railways have had to have rules for those who travel and those who work on the trains. Some of the rules may refer to social practices of the time, the comfort of passengers or to the safety required in the Railway environment. The Victorian Railways referred to these rules as By-Laws. Not only were there rules, but there may be a fixed penalty (fines) for those who may break them. Being a government body the Victorian Railways had the rules and appropriate action authorised. This poster was issued in 1968 and was one of many that were displayed at most Victorian railway stations. 2 Souvenir booklets from the official opening of Bundoora Public Hall on 1st June 1968. One is in original unopened commemorative envelope featuring the coat of arms of the Shire of Diamond Valley. The brochure opens to a 3 page double sided document outlining the history of the original public hall in Bundoora, describing the new building and also shows a plan of the same. Accompanied by a 9 page foolscap list of guests at the opening. Entries are mostly typed, but some have been added by hand. Records the attendees at and program for opening of Bundoora Public Hall. The Victorian Rifle Association governs the operation of rifle ranges and target shooting clubs throughout Victoria. The Association was formed in 1860 and held its first individual competition at the end of that year. These programs were used by C.
