Betty Collier was a student of the Ballarat Technical Art School in 1959 and later became a long term teacher at the SMB Arts Academy until 2005. Her work covers many areas of art - painting, drawing, sculpture using various materials and techniques. Examples of her large sculptures are exhibited in the Library at SMB Campus. Bella Guerin matriculated from the University of Melbourne in 1878, passing in Latin, English, French, Arithmatic, Algebra, Euclif and History She enrolled into the Faculty of Arts at Melbourne University in 1881, the first year women could do so, and graduated in 1883. Adam RISH (1953-) Sydney based artist Adam Rish completed a BA (Hons) in Fine Art at MFA and has exhibited in Australia since 1975. He has been the recipient of a Visual Arts Board Studio Residency in 1981 and 1984 and an Asialink Residency in Indonesia in 1997.
