Part of "Woolcock Gallery Collection". Exhibited at CEMA, 1989.A study of two flowers. The flower of the left is a single stem with nine leaves dominishing in size as they ascend the stalk, which is topped by a cluster of eight flowers. The flowers are yellow, with large centres of a darker shade. Each stem is topped with flowers with white petals and yellow androecia. Artist comment: These three prints (The Groom, The Undertaker's Assistant, The Organist) are part of a series on forebears of Portland. The drawings are taken from people in a collection of photographs belonging to the Johnson Family of Portland. The "Old Lady" and "The Wedding" are part of the same series.
