Official M&MTB photograph showing W5 class 727 after removal of its centre passenger doorways in 1969. Its other doorways are closed with canvas blinds and the destination reads "Special". Tram 727 was the first of over 80 W5 class cars to have their centre doorways removed as part of a tramcar modernisation process during the 1970s.
