3269.1 - BTPS membership card for year ending 30 May 1976. Printed in green ink on off white card, featuring the name of the organisation with the word "limited" hand stamped on, membership number, signature space and a side on image of No. 14. Date hand stamped on in green ink and membership number stamped in black ink. Card made out to Mrs. C. Dean, No. 192 in handwriting and signed by Carolyn Dean. 3269.2 - ditto, but with membership No. 42 - the correct ones! 3269.3 - ditto for the year ended 30th June 1977. "Limited" in black ink and other details typed on. 3269.4 - ditto for period to 14-7-1976 for Warren Doubleday, given number 005, which was later revised - card added 4-1-2014. 3269.5 - as for .4, but with revised Membership Number. Stamped on rear that Warren has signed the worker indemnification form. - card added 7-5-2022 Could have been the first or second style of membership card, not known when first printed. trams, tramways, btps, membership cards -

Set of A4 photocopies of 15 years of annual reports of The Electric Supply Company of Victoria Limited from 1920 to 1934. Most of the reports comprise three sheets - Directors Report, left hand side of the Balance Sheet, Trading Account and Profit and Loss Account on the right hand side. Some reports have a statutory declaration by the Manager and Secretary that the reports submitted are a true copy of the report. Items .1 to .12 detail the number of lamps connected, passengers carried and trading account for the last three years. This practice stopped when ESCo sold the company to the SEC but continued to manage it for a further four years. The Directors report from 9/1900 note the forthcoming sale of the company to the British Insulated Wire Company Limited and the problems of finalising the sale. Set of A4 photocopies of 6 years of half yearly reports of The Ballaarat Tramway Company Limited (Horse Trams) from 3/1897 to 9/1902. All reports except the last one comprise a two sheet printed or typeset report giving notice of meeting, directors report, statement of assets and liabilities, share structure and profit and loss account. The last report 9/1902 is typed, and lists assets and credits only on the profit and loss account. Meetings were held at Craig's Hotel, Lydiard St. The Directors report from 9/1900 note the forthcoming sale of the company to the British Insulated Wire Company Limited and the problems of finalising the sale. Photocopies of Registers of Shareholders of the Ballaarat Tramway Company Limited, obtained by Alan Bradley from the Victorian Public Records Office (c1995). 2809.1 - Two page photocopy of a handwritten list (was a larger sheet) of the Company directors giving name, address, occupation and whether Director or Secretary. Three page list of the shareholders, giving number of shares held, Surname, Christian Name, Address, Occupation in alphabetical order. List totals 23000 shares, with 17038 held by the contractor for the construction. 2809.2 - Eight page photocopy of a handwritten list of the shareholders at 21/4/1903. Has a cover sheet of the Victorian Registrar General dated 11/6/2003. Second page gives details of share holdings, (32,000 in total), the amount paid on each share, calls unpaid, forfeited shares.
