Photos of Mt Heatherly, an historical building in Belgrave, opposite Belgrave Lake Park. Address is Park Drive, on the corner of Waratah Ave. The house is now owned by Mrs Elizabeth Schneider, and was first constructed around 1881 by the first owner of the selection, Ormond Smith. It was made of hand-made bricks made on site, and a foundation of rock and stone. The original house may have had a corrugated iron roof. The original house forms part of the modern house. B&W photo of St Martins Anglican Church in its original location on (now) Belgrave-Hallam Rd, Belgrave South. The photo shows the street face of the building with dark-stained timbers. These were probably the original oiled weatherboards which were used in 1928. In front of the church is a wide wire gate and a smaller wired gate, and part of a fence can be seen on the right. There are shrubs planted against the church wall and a noticeboard is attached to the front wall of the sanctuary. The sign says 'St Martins Church of England' but the rest is illegible. Tall trees can be seen behind the building.

Upwey Station Sign; Upwey Railway Station is located on the Belgrave line in Victoria, Australia. This railway serves the Eastern region of Melbourne. Upwey Railway Station opened on the 3rd of June 1901. Upwey Railway Station has a crossing loop in the middle of a six kilometre section of single railway track between Ferntree Gully Railway Station and Belgrave Railway Station. The station was originally on the Upper Ferntree Gully to Gembrook narrow gauge line. The Upper Ferntree Gully to Gembrook Narrow Gauge railway line officially closed on the 30th of April 1954. It saw further use between 1955 and early 1958, when trains were operated by the Puffing Billy Preservation Society in co-operation with the Victorian Railways. The Upper Ferntree Gully to Belgrave section was converted to Broad Guage and re-opened on the 19th of February 1962. Two colour photos show the site at Belgrave Heights just before the relocation of the former St Martins Anglican Church and Hall. Both photos show the Progress Hall beside an area of grass where the buildings were positioned on Sunday 2nd July 1995.

In the earliest years of the Colac-Beech Forest-Crowes line all trains were hauled by NA-class 2-6-2 tank locomotives. From 1926, with the introduction of articulated Beyer Garrett locomotive G41, it hauled the majority of trains with the NAs providing supplementary service as required. Late in 1945 Garratt G41 was again out of action undergoing repairs at the depot in Colac so regular traffic again was handled by an NA for a short time. The line continued to survive on pulpwood long after other VR narrow gauge lines had ceased operation but finally, on 30 June 1962, a dilapidated G42 hauled the last train of goods wagons and vans to Beech Forest and return.Focus on Victoria's Narrow Gauge: Beech Forest Line, Part One. Two men and a woman are standing on the near side of the fenced-off gully, another group people, perhaps two men and four women and girls, are sitting and standing on the far side of the gully, and a further two people are at the right of the photo. There are trees and tree ferns in the background and two signs are visible, attached to trees and possibly pertaining to a guesthouse further up the hill and accessible by a path which is just visible. On the back of the photo 'Belgrave Easter 1922' is written in pen.
