Pamphlet, folded sheet, manila colour card, printed in blue ink, titled "Z3 Tram - Souvenir of the Introduction of New Series Trams to Melbourne", for the launch of the Z 3 class tram. Has a sketch of Z 3 116. Provides a list or details of the changes to the tram from the Z 1 Z 2 types. Had a tear off section could be handed to the conductor, but this has been removed. Set of two Manila Adult Tourist tickets, 1/- Card Ticket No Ba 143049 and Ba 143797. Useable on all provincial tramways. Card originally preprinted for years 1943 to 1945 and dates for Ballarat, Bendigo and Geelong, then overprinted for the years 1947, 1948 and 1948, with red lines through the original years. Allowed a return trip on all routes. .1 - Was punched for use on Wednesday, 2 Jan (?) 1947 in Bendigo. Appears to have been used for three trips. .2 - punched for Tuesday 13 Jan 1948 in Bendigo. Yields information about the rosters or the work patterns of the crews in operating the Ballarat tramway towards the time of closure. Has a strong association with the crews themselves as they had to know these on the job.Set of 8 sheets on heat sensitive paper of the roster or timetables of the various tram runs for crews detailing the time they sign on, what services they operate, times, meals, who relieves or takes them, and times finishing, total times and any notes eg change of tram type.
