MMTB 2d ticket - black printing on green ink, 9 sections, punched for section 1A, ticket number D, Bk, 943866. Has a Bushels tea advertisement on rear. The donor advised that it was probably 1940's/1950's when went to school by tram Whitehorse Road, between Burke Rand Balwyn Road, though the ticket has been punched for a inner section. Sign, sandwich board style, Masonite sheets secured to pine uprights, yellow background, green letters, with words "Australian Electric Traction Association". Used by the AETA at conventions, displays etc. Possibly made 1980's by style of letters and paint. Has four 50x18 wooden legs, with hinges at the top to support sign and allow it to be opened. Fitted with rope and eyehooks to allow it to be carried our secured in the open position. These are damaged and not functional. Sign, painted onto a MMTB auxiliary destination board of the type that could hang on the front of a Melbourne tram car with the words "Australian Electric Traction Association Special Car". Used for special tours by the AETA. Metal sign, fitted with metal hanging brackets, riveted to sign on both sides. Manufactured by rolling the outer edges over a 4mm diameter steel rod. Has been painted over a an old sign "Direct to Trotting Showgrounds??? via Abbotsford St 3d". Second sign painted over a sign that had on one side "Via Elsternwick" and "Via Balaclava Road". Model of Melbourne tram W5 (actually a SW5) No. 812, electric model, made by Cooee Concepts Pty Ltd in China. Model packaged in a wooden packing case with a red felt base, contained within a card board outer case. The card board cover or case has a printed sheet giving details of the model and the history of the W5 Class tramcar. The wooden case has a brass plate detailing the contents. Scale 00 or 1:76. Model made from plastic and metal, with operable lights and motors with operable trolley poles, swivelling bogies, destination of St Kilda, showing route 16. Headlights function in the direction of travel. Package has manufacturing date of 2008 printed on it.
