Letter, seven pages, 5 September, 1983, from A.C.A. Howe Australia Pty Ltd., Mining and Geological Consultants to Bendigo Mining N.L re mining lease application. Report is intended for inclusion in the prospectus dated October 1983 for issue by Bendigo Mining N.L of shares. Tenements, mineralization and mining operation on the Deborah anticline are discussed. 'The mineralization on the Bendigo goldfield was won from repetitive saddle reef structures which developed along 13 adjacent parallel anticlines in a tightly folded sequence of Lower Ordovician metasediments over a width of 4km and along strike for 19km. Newspaper - CENTRAL DEBORAH GOLD MINE MINING FATALITY
Newspaper article and typed copy of same, detailing the fatal accident that occurred at the mine on the 22nd January 1953, in which Herbert Hunter of Kangaroo Flat was killed. ' Hunter was working at No 16 level at a depth of 1270 feet from the surface and about 500 feet south from the shaft when a large piece of stone , estimated to wrigh about one ton, broke away.
