Separate card for each class of tramcar featured, with notes, statistics, MMTB name. Each card also has printers name and date on back. Album comprises heavy cardboard covers with brown Rexene covers, with inside papers of heavy dark grey photo album paper, 36 leaves of dark grey photo paper and two brass interscrews within black grommets. See Condition Details re damage to back cover. Album contains 32 photos - personal prints of Keith Kings. Title page has been hand written to Les Denmead, dated 6/7/1970, thanking Mr. Denmead for his assistance over the years. Photos divided into the three SEC Provincial Tramway cities, each with a typed name proceeding the set of photos. Two further photos of Geelong were at the rear of the album, but were not in position when catalogued. One of these photos may be Reg. Item 1874 - photo of Geelong scrubber tram. Each of the photographs have been separately registered, as shown in the table below. Scanned images made of front and back of the photos. Tram has destination of "CITY". Photo includes illuminated Paterson, T&G, Myer and the Vegas theatre signs. Has many parked cars in Sturt St, with red lines from the tail lights of vehicles moving on image. Black and white print of a donated negative. Print made 12/1998. Photo of SEC tram No. 33 at the Sebastopol terminus with the Royal Mail Hotel in the background. Photo taken during 1968. Tram still has destination of Sebastopol on north end, Fosters Lager sign on hotel and Twin Lakes sign on the tram. Tram overhead has the sheet metal device to assist in putting the trolley pole back on. Two parked cars in the photograph. Photo shows ground conditions at the terminus and taken at same time as Reg. Yields information about the depot and environs during the reconstruction of the Ballarat tramways and the vacant land to the west of the depotSet of 5 Black and white photo prints from collected negatives of the SEC Ballarat depot building, during refurbishment by the SEC during the mid 1935/1936, taken at the same time as Reg Item 1349. 1350.1 - Depot buildings from Gregory St. on the western side. Shows the whole length of the buildings. 1350.2 - Western side of depot buildings from Gregory St. end, looking towards Wendouree Parade. 1350.3 - Eastern side of depot building from Gregory St. end. 1350.4 - Western side of depot building from Wendouree Parade - shows yard on side which was to become the tennis court. 1350.5 - Office, lockers etc. buildings on east side of depot, from Wendouree Parade, Shows the 'Bundy' clock. A motor bike is parked against the wall. 2nd copy held of 1350.1, 1350.2 and 1350.3 - ex moveable display boards. Colour photocopies laminated of these photographs on display 6/2000 at 02-02-06. Copy 3 - of all above photos - large format prints (203H x 253W) - added 28/7/2007, ex Alan Bradley holding of prints, received 5/2007. Set of three Black and white photographs on Kodak paper of an Association of Railway Enthusiasts tram tour with X2 676. The tour featured the use of a Washington DC destination roll. Date of Tour 31/10/1965. 1422.1 - X2 at the terminus of route 69/79 routes at the Esplanade, St Kilda. Note the track is alongside the north side kerb. Has Palais Theatre in the background and Luna Park. Tram showing destination of "Municipal Center" 1422.2 - Hawthorn Road, just north of Balaclava road, looking south. SW6 869 alongside. 676 on temporary track - during the reconstruction of Hawthorn Road - permanent track has been completed alongside. Thirty Two page book, A4 landscape format, saddle stapled, titled "100 years of Melbourne's Trams", published by the Metropolitan Transit Authority and the Australian Tramway and Motor Omnibus Employees Association in 1985. Colour cover featuring drawings of Melbourne trams from cable trams to articulated electric trams. Has foreword by Tom Roper, Minister for Transport. Book published to celebrate the centenary of the opening of the first cable tram in Melbourne, 11/11/1885. Reviews the history of trams in Melbourne, cable trams, horse trams, Clapp, municipal tramways, electric trams, MMTB, buses, Preston Workshops, Wattle Park and the Metropolitan Transit Authority. Notes the MTA winning the tender to building the Kowloon - Canton Light Rail system and Melbourne's Automatic Vehicle Monitoring System. In the background are Woolworths Big W store and Dickins supermarket. Kodak cardboard mount slide, taken by Peter Moses assumed Jan. 1969, dated only "Jan", but date lines up with Bendigo slides and type of numbering.
