Hugh Mahon (1857-1931) was a resident of Ringwood at the time of his death and was buried in Box Hill cemetery.Full title: Hugh Mahon, Patriot, Pressman, Politician by Jeff Kildea - Volume 1: Patriot and Pressman: the years from 1857 to 1901."This book, the first part of a two-volume biography of Mahon, spans the period from his birth in 1857 to his election to parliament. Pulling together the many facets of Mahon's life, it reveals the forces which drove this complex man who was reviled by many for denouncing the British Empire while remaining a hero to those who supported self-determination for Ireland."

Folder includes photographic record of the Probus Club of Ringwood by Ron Thorn who was inducted into the Club in 1985. The total collection of Ron's photos fell into three main groups: Club functions, tours and excursions; Activities of special interest groups; and Members, speakers and special guests.

The Melbourne cable tramway system operated between 1885 and 1940.Former Melbourne cable tram bell used for fortnightly and annual meetings of Ringwood Apex Club, mounted on timber base with metal shields showing presidents for each year from 1966 to 2003. Ringwood Apex Club closed in 2003-04.This dinner gong, formerly a Melbourne cable tram bell, was donated by inaugural secretary Wal Hodgson 21.10.67. Built in 1970 by Pat Burley, Iceland was a popular attraction, with bands as well as ice skating. It was sold in 1981, and subsequently was converted into various business units. 4 photos taken during the demolition if the old Ringwood Ice-skating Rink building, Iceland, 28 Maroondah Highway between New Street and the freeway.
