The War Memorial obelisk was relocated here from it oriiginal site and situated in front of the building. After the branch amalgamated with Montmorency in 2012, the building was subsequently sold and demolished. The memorial was relocated. Units now occupy the site. A telegraph pole stands on the right side of the lane. The lane called Millers Lane was named in 2012. This medal was issued in 1953 to commemorate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth 11 of Britain in 1953. It was issued by the National Playing Fields Association, an organization formed in 1925 to acquire, protect, improve and increase Britain’s playing fields and playgrounds. Walter Bruce Nixon (20.11.1934-8.9.2012) lived at Yarra Glen and was a bus line owner. He also ran a company, Tarcoola Press, which published books on the history of the Nillumbik and Yarra Valley area, and generously supported organisations such as the Andrew Ross Museum and the C J La Trobe Society. Gives the run number order of the tramcars out of the depot, the time out and the number of miles for the day (would have other runs within it), for Weekdays, Saturday and Sundays. Lorraine Loader was a resident of Peterborough and a keen golfer who's home in Schomberg Road overlooked the fourth fairway and was a valued member of the club. Upon her death the 4 Ball Better Ball event was created and her family donated funds for prizes and this honour board. The 2005 winner - Leigh Howard, was a professional rider with Team Colombia in 2010 and is currently on the pro tour with Orica Green Edge (commencing 2012). He was the World Omnium Champion in 2009, and World Madison Champion 2010 and 2011.This shield records the cyclists who were high achievers in the Geelong region.A mahogany coloured wooden shield with brass plated plaques containing inscriptions of winners of the senior road aggregate of the Geelong West Cycling Club during the years 1998-2002.
