This souvenir card "to the ANZACS Christmas 1915" was produced with greeting messages from General Sir Ian Hamilton, General Sir William Birdwood and Senator Pearce. The card was being sent by Australian Women in England to all Invalided Australians in England, Egypt and Malta. It would appear that Lady Birdwood was one of many behind the production of the Card. A commemorative booklet about the role of nurses, in particular the nurses of the Australian Army Nursing Service, during WW2. The booklet has a light cardboard cover of buff colour and contains 28 pages. This booklet was published as a fund raiser for the "Centaur" War Nurses Memorial Fund.The booklet is entitled "Lest We Forget" and has the Red Cross symbol surrounded by an olive wreath printed, in colour, on the cover. There is an image of the hospital ship Centaur superimposed on the Red Cross symbol. Beneath the wreath there are the words ""CENTAUR" MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP". The words "AUSTRALIAN ARMY NURSING SERVICE" are printed across the bottom of the cover page and the price was 2/-.

The first kiln built on Phillip Island in the 1870's for Mr John West. It was situated in Thompson Avenue next to Wests General Store. When the kiln was demolished, the bricks were used to build the old Post Office on the corner of the Esplanade. Mr John West gave a Banquet at the Isle of Wight Hotel to celebrate the opening of his kiln.Water Colour Sketch. This picture was reconstructed by Jean Archibald from pencil sketches by S Serpell in 1905, and an artist who travelled to Phillip Island with the "Vagabond", a journalist for the "Leader", in 1889.
