Set of 6 printed financial reports for The Melbourne Tramways Trust, giving Liabilities and Assets, Sinking Fund and interest transactions for the half year end, and statement of receipts, statement of Receipts and expenditure. Signed by the Treasurer R. Wallace and the auditor C. W. Ellis and dated. All have been stored folded in half vertically. .1 - 31st March 1901 - has dirt marks, stains, edge damage and very dirty on rear. .2 - 30th September 1901 - has stain marks, edge damage, bottom right hand corner has been folded. .3 - 31st March 1902 - has one stain, top edge damaged, dirt marks on rear, bottom right hand corner folded. .4 - 30th September 1902 - has two stains, dirt marks on rear. .5 - 31st March 1903 - has minor fading around edges. Has space for the Electrical Shop, Air shop, Body Shop, Truck shop, and Paint shop. Form used to advise that works car 19 had a loose tyre 2C, advised by South Melbourne Depot 3-12-1970. Tram 19W. Electrical shop cleaned and checked both controllers with dates of test, air shop - air and sand ok, and truck shop put notes in as well, not sure what they mean, though the axle is 33" by Thomson's & Co and it was fitted with GE 241 motors. Series of 15 black and white photographs of the track works to reconstruct tram lines showing various methods and works during the 1960's. .1 - Jackhammers concrete out around wooden sleepers - the rails have been bolted to them. .2 - Excavated track or temporary track next to newly relaid track - Hawthorn Road by Caulfield Park? .3 - Partly completed work - nearest track relaid, second track still has wood blocks? and then a temporary track. .4 - Excavated previously concreted and bolted track. Appears to be new rail. .5 - Compacting a new track bed with work laying track in the background. .6 - Rail being craned into position onto small concrete blocks - Nicholson St North Fitzroy at Church St - the church is now Melbourne City Mission Palliative care centre. 1955/56 - construction of the replacement track.
