The ticket price is in black ink while the ticket number itself is in black ink. On rear in black ink is a diagonal criss cross or tartan pattern. All tickets have been used. Not numbered on rear. Set of three foolscap size sheets, for ARE/ARHS/AREA (Vintage Train) Tour to Ballarat, on Sunday 5 September 1971, the last day of the Mount Pleasant, Gardens Via St. West Lines. 1. - Welcome Aboard circular - printed both sides on pink paper - which involved the running of two trains, special bus and tram arrangements at Ballarat, for the visit to Sovereign Hill. Gives details of the tram timetables, for the afternoon, train departure times, lunch arrangements and notes on bus and tram running if peak loads encountered. 2nd copy ex Peter Winspur, added 11/1/2007. 2. Victorian Railways S Circular, or special train notice, S2188/71, three pages giving list of special trains, altered platform arrangements at Flinders St., train schedules, alterations to goods trains, light engine movements, loads, motive power and tickets. Set of 5 documents for the "Farewell to Bendigo Trams" tour conducted by the ARHS Vic Div and the TMSV, first scheduled for Sat. 12/2/1972, but delayed to Sat. 4/3/1972 due to SECV Power restrictions on the day. 3277.1 - documents 1 to 3 stapled in top left hand corner. 1. Tour circular, printed on pink paper with a photo of No. 28 at Golden Square terminus. Has logos of ARHS Vic Div and TMSV, part missing - used for booking. Gives details of the purpose of the tour, approx. times, refreshments, a booklet and fares. Organiser Victor Isaacs and Neil Morrow Booking Officer. Printed on foolscap paper in landscape format 2. Victorian Railways S Circular, or special train notice, S.224/72, single page giving train schedules, loads, motive power, carriage numbers and tickets. Signed by J.C. Crute as Chief Traffic Manager. Dated 19/1/1972. Printed on foolscap paper. 3. Ticket circular printed on quarto paper giving times of departure and arrival back, noting its express run to Melbourne. 3277.2 - documents 4 to 5, stapled in top left hand corner. 4. Set of two sheets, one printed on foolscap card paper, the other on foolscap paper, giving a graph of the tram workings, showing the special trams (tours A and B) overlain with the Saturday timetable. Dated 4/3/1972. 5. Victorian Railways S Circular, or special train notice, S.435/72, single page giving train schedules, loads, motive power, carriage numbers and tickets. Signed by J.C. Yields information about tram services and how timetables were printed using a clock face for use in Ballarat. Demonstrates timetable making.Twenty Eight page, white paper, saddle stapled booklet, titled "Electricity Supply Department - Ballarat Tramways - Official Time Table January 1939", numbered TYE 1-48-5918. Gives notes on the through routing of the tram service, how the clock style format works and that it operates from the Tramway Centre. Also details when extra services are run and times as specific points along the route. Pages 24 and 25 detail the fares and charges, page 26 - luggage, page 27 - section destinations for the various routes and page 28, notes recent reductions in electricity charges. Two copies held. In the worksheet file is the basis of an article that appeared in Feb. 2006 Fares Please! Single A4 sheet, printed for Bus Route 12, that replaced the Sebastopol tram service. Undated, thought to be the replacement, but may be a later date. No details of operator. Gives details of services from the City on weekdays, from 6.45am to 9.15pm and to the City from 6.58am to 9.28pm on either side of the sheet. Shows for inbound services, which route number it is through routed to. Set of three items concerning the restoration project for Horse Tram No. 1, by the Ballarat Vintage Tramway, 1986. 2804.1 - Letter on BTPS Letterhead, dated 8/4/1986, standard letter, seeking sponsorship or financial assistance for the project. Drafted for a Trust. Signed by the President, Frank Hanrahan. 2804.2 - 12 page report comb bound, with clear plastic cover, preprinted cover featuring horse tram No. 7 and light card rear back cover, dark blue in colour. Has a number of advertisements for SEC home equipment, cookers, toasters, refrigerator, electric radiators and hot water. In the middle page is a map of the Tramway Routes, which has been hand drawn to shown North Bendigo and the depot location. Inside the rear cover, on a sheet headed "Memorandum" is a photograph, taped in of a conductor loading a pram onto a Birney tram.
