The conductor with trip slips appears to be walking forward to check for cable trams in Johnston St as required by the rules. Passengers are alighting from the tram. “Warranooke” Homestead built 1867 enlarged 1926 unfortunately destroyed by fire 13th Feb. 1979. Names associated with homestead Ayrey - Darnell - Nicoll and later Campbell. The Campbell's built up the station buildings in brick. Nevil Campbell's son Peter at this time was running the station and hopefully his son will continue. Photograph - of a K class four-wheel or single truck tram on a PMTT route 14 (STRATHALBYN ST (Kew) - VICTORIA BRIDGE) tram service, at Harp Road and High St. The reference gives the tram based at Kew Depot in 1928. The tram was originally a Prahran and Malvern Tramways Trust tram, though, by the time of this photograph, it has been re-lettered for the MMTB, which took over the PMTT in 1920. The photograph has been marked up for a submission possibly to either Council or the MMTB for a waiting room or shelter at this location. The wall of the Harp of Erin Hotel and a Victoria Bitter sign can be seen on the right-hand side. The original photo appears to have been torn. Third Annual Report of the Footscray Tramway Trust, for the year ending 30/9/1919. Lists the Trust Members, Consulting Engineers, and Secretary. Details the Trust's activities, finances, and a short review of activities noting the supply of energy from the Victorian Railways Newport Power Station. Engineering report by Christie & Gardiner detailing the construction, welding of joints, tar surfacing, substation equipment, fitting equipment to the seven ex HTT tramcars at Footscray, delivery of equipment for the tramcars, but a delay in the delivery of the trolley wire. There are four pages of accounts and one page for the Auditor's statement.
