A photo of the Olive Tree of Peace planted by Legacy in the Western Lawn of the Shrine of Remembrance in 1973. The plaque reads "1923 1973 / This olive tree symbolising peace marks fifty years of Legacy service to the widows of ex-servicemen and their children." 1973 was the Golden Jubilee year of Legacy Another photo showing members of Legacy and officials standing near the newly planted olive tree. Photos of gathering at the Legacy Garden of Appreciation for the installation of the ‘Widow and Children’ statue by Louis Laumen - a Melbourne artist. The statue dedication was held on 29 September 1998. The plaque at the garden says “A living tribute to the generous support of Victorians for the work of Legacy. The sculpture symbolises the work of Legacy caring for the widows and children of veterans. A 1939 booklet of nursery rhymes designed to inspire Australian children with their own fairy stories. Olga Dorothea Agnes Ernst published the rhymes under her married name Waller. This copy was presumably used by Helen Gibson in her pre-school teaching and was donated to the society as part of her collection of materials.Stapled booklet with cardboard covers and twenty-four pages, containing lyrics and music to ten songs composed by Olga D.
