Both drawings date stamped 8/7/1966 giving date Bob obtained them from the MMTB. .1 - Drawing O2706 - "Track Lights - stop Mark Light Indicators", dated 1925, shows a round light to be placed in front of a street light. .2 - - Drawing No. E9641 "Stopping Place Indicator to fit SEC 17" Reflector" - shows a rectangular light to be placed in front of a standard SEC street light with a bulb. This medical / hospital instrument was used in the Tawonga District General Hospital which was built in the 1950s specifically for the increase in population due to the Kiewa Hydro Scheme.Historical: Shows the development of scientific hospital equipment. Provenance: Used in the Tawonga District General Hospital which was remote and therefore required good equipment.Used for rectal examinations. Stainless steel. 2 parts. Shaped like a gun the handle of the hollow holder being at a rectangle. The connections are attached to a cone shape. The part that fits inside this holder is straight with a handle at one end, with a shield to stop it travelling into its holder too far.Then it continues as a rod, half way along which is another shield until the rod stops at a solid half cylinder. Sign - Piece of sheet steel folded to give an upstand or method of attachment to a pole, enamelled with red, white and black paint for use at tram stops. On 17th December 1985 record torrential rain fell in Sunbury, which flooded the main Melbourne Bendigo rail line and disrupted traffic. The photograph is looking to the north of the station and takes in the historic Macedon Street bridge and the open ground with the storage silo on the west side of the railway line. The "JS" indicates it was made by John Stephenson of New York who made tramway equipment and the first cable tram saloon cars for Melbourne.
