Mounted decal "The Melbourne Tram" - glued to green vinyl covered craftwood or similar timber. Has a hanging strip or cord with two metal lugs screwed into the mounting material on rear. Mounted by "The Exhibition Centre" Randal advised that Y469 was painted dark green very briefly in 1992 - an initiative of the Kirner Government to operate "The Melbourne Tram" as a tourist service. Pamphlet, folded sheet with a tear off comments section, manila colour card, printed in blue ink, titled "Z3 Tram - Souvenir of the Introduction of New Series Trams to Melbourne", for the launch of the Z 3 class tram. Has a sketch of Z 3 116. Provides a list or details of the changes to the tram from the Z 1 Z 2 types. Tear off section could be handed to the conductor. Published by the MMTB for the launch of the tram on 25 and 26 September 1979. Second copy added 22/7/2016. Third copy from John Prideaux added 18/6/2017. Set of two badges or medallions issued to first world war veterans or widows. Round cast brass with a small lug or attachment point on the top, finished with a high gloss lacquered finish. Rear finished with a slight stippled finish, with the words "Not Transferable" and the name of the manufacturer, "Swan & Hudson" cast in. .1 - black background, with the words "World War 1 Veterans Travel Pass 1980" in gold and the number "4720", stamped in a gold background. .2 - yellow background with the words "Widow of World War 1 Veteran" and the number "12001" stamped into a gold background. Functional object - Cable tram door frame piece/s, Melbourne Tramway & Omnibus Co. Limited, c1890
Set of five components from Melbourne Cable tram saloon or trailer No. 427, from the inside or internal framing panels around a door. Made from soft wood, cut and assembled with wood screws, glued and then varnished. .1 - Small arch part or panel over the doorway with the cable tram number painted on to it "427". .2 - part or panel that fitted over the end saloon window - fitted with hinges to allow access to the saloon door slide mechanism. Has a MMTB Transfer - Cable Tramways poster glued to the surface. Internal part of this part has a light colour finish on the rear. .3 - as for .3, but without any poster. .4 - as for .3, hinged to the part of door archway component above this panel, including some screws.
