A school reader with a cardboard cover bound on the spine with two staples. The front cover has a silhouette picture in purple, green and cream of a boy with a dog and a little girl pushing a pram. This series of texts replaced an earlier set of Victorian Readers that were used in schools from 1924. This miner's right was glued onto a page in a large album of photographic images of early Ballarat. Recognising their significance the Council of the Old Colonists’ Association had them removed and restored. Edmondson pasteboard railway ticket, No. 14, dated 25 April 1974, for use on a Ballarat Tramway Preservation Society special train from Morwell to Mirboo North and return. Ticket base is off white with eight light orange vertical bands equally spaced along the ticket, which is printed in landscape format.
