Items issued to Capt T McCAW VX93 enlisted in the 2nd AIF on 27.10.1939, he was discharged on 19.2.1947 with the rank of Capt in 2/2nd Field Regt. He is also listed with a Regt No 350309 so assumably he enlisted again going by the uniform on Cat No 1488.2. Hucker began working with unspun wool and making dyes from the natural sources from her garden and the farm trees around her. From knitting and croceting articles, she progressed to felting and a 'wrapping' technique, always using unspun wool.
